I told you the Perch were biting on Rose, here's one that Ron just brought it today, 14".

Getting some very good reports of some nice Gills getting caught too.

04/08/2009

Well the ice is gone finally, Crappies and Gills are biting good, back in the coves and channels. Guys are getting a few Steelhead also. Need it to start warming up a bit. Last Sat of April is coming up, soon it will be time to get out and target some Eyes. Were getting some real nice weather for a few days, be a good time to get out there.

04/13/2009

Its going to be real nice this week too, get out and enjoy some early fishing. Crappies are biting good and the Gills should be in the coves. Great time of the year to be out there.

04/18/2009

This Spring if flying by, next Saturday is already opening day for Pike, Walleye, Trout and the catch and release season for Bass. Time to get your new fishing license and geared up for the fishing season.

04/25/2009

Nice opener, weather was warm and a good rain late Friday night, Trout should be on the bite big time today.

04/27/2009

All the rain we got this weekend made for a great opener, had reports of some nice catches of Trout. I believe their going to be a tough bite for a few days, they should be stuffed by now. Time to target some Eyes or catch and release Bass.

05/01/2009

Its going to be a nice weekend, cool but sunshine. Been getting some good reports on Trout, had a 26" Brown brought in and a limit of Brookies. Gills are biting good too, haven't heard anything about Eyes or Bass yet, just been too windy.

05/12/2009

Fishing is going good Gills are in the shallows and hungry. Trout are biting good, getting some real nice reports.

05/20/2009

Bass season opens Saturday, their still on their beds so please let them do their thing before you decide to keep them. Big females should always be put back to insure a future for the Bass. After they get done spawning the males guard the nest, if you take these from the nest the little bass will not be able to survive. Plenty of panfish to keep for dinner. :)

05/23/2009

Great start to the holiday weekend, nice weather and not much wind. Fishing is going good, getting some good reports of Gills being caught. Diamond Lake is giving up some nice Gills.

05/31/2009

Still getting good reports from most, been windy, today was the first break this spring I believe.

I finally made it out today, boat ran good and I caught this 21" Eye.

06/11/2009

Weather sure has the fish confused, cold has made it so the Gills are just now getting started bedding. Not sure if the Bass have gotten to complete their spawn yet. I have seen some nice catches of Gills and there have been at least 5 Walleye taken on Rose that were around 25". Free Fishing weekend is this weekend, get out and enjoy the nice stretch of weather we are suppose to be getting.

06/15/2009

Things are finally warming up and letting the fish get back to normal. Gills are on their beds, Bass are getting their spawning done.
